Dream Closet Project

I've been working on this project to help satisfy my urge to have a wardrobe filled with everything I love.  I can't buy the stuff, but hey, I can dream.  So I started this series of collages, "dresses I'd want" or "bracelets I'd want" and so on.  This will be a huge post, and an unfinished one.  I'm sure there will be more to make.  And I might even change my mind on some items, and change things up, post the edits later. So here goes.

Some Casual Styles

   I decided to go for some casual looks to create - one of them more "Earthy-Comfy", and the other more "Casual with a Bite".  Not plain, ever, but more every-day, at least my kind of every-day.


               Heres my Earthy Comfy.  Good for mild Winter days and excellent for spring and fall.

Now, here my Casual with a Bite.  Easy to see where I get the name.  Great for summer.

Casual and Rugged Browns and Greys

Heres another one I did recently, going a different direction than a lot of my "summer" ones. Not so much with the super-feminine, and not a dress for once. There's boots. Cause there's always gotta be boots. I imagined it being something I'd wear in the fall, or a mild winter, definitely outdoors and doing lots of walking.  Comfortable, kinda badass and rugged, but still looking good.  I don't know, this look doesn't appeal to some people, but its always been one of my favorites. Pants that can stand to have some dirt on them. Boots to last a lifetime and look better with age and use. Jacket to keep you warm. And looking as rugged and worn and beautiful as the stones and trees around you. Its clothing I feel tough in - not like, bad-ass tough but more like "I can withstand anything in this" tough.  Epic camping-wear. Perfect for tromping around Portland on its rainier days.  Tromping around anywhere really.  I dont know. I like it. So here it is!

Favorites are Made, and Name Signing

So, the next few are some favorites I've made, and some of the first examples of me actually putting my name on these and trying to make them look 'nice' or whatever.

This one is just a basic casual outfit, comfy, neutral, blah blah. I LOVE big comfy drapey sweaters. And Feathers, of course. Always, feathers. And theres a feather-like pattern on the shirt too, or I guess more of a moth-wing pattern, but close, very close. Beautiful, too.  And I adore the boots. As usual.

 

These next are my favorites. The first one, is my absolute favorite favorite of anything, ever. The dress is stunning. The whole outfit is perfect.  I would wear this type of stuff everyday if I could. Its just my favorite one EVER!!
 

Ok, and this one is lovely too.  I dont know if it would look as good on me as it looks put together, but if not me, maybe someone else. I love creams, and soft greens, and lace, and just.....everything about this.
